It says a lot about who you are, what you’ve gone through and what you want from others.There will always be insensitive persons out there, but it’s their loss to be so inconsiderate. I have come to your blog via the discover thread and couldn’t agree more with your opinions on ‘follow’. I know Facebook is a great base for networking, but I left it over a yr ago due to hate and continuously seeing posts that were hurtful or upsetting in some way. Love your article on Teresa Gunn. You and I had to have been at many of her shows at the same time. I sent her a fan letter and she wrote me back saying my letter was the first fan letter she ever got. Funny. At her next show she gave me a autographed record for free. Pretty cool. I also wonder why she never made it big time. Glad everything worked out for her. – James

Her 1980s Teresa Gunn Group EP is on Spotify as of a few weeks ago. Yes, she’s very cool. After I wrote this we became facebook friends and are marginally in touch with each other. Lots of folks out there googling her name. I get visitors several times a week.

I just stumbled onto your blog the way I do everything–by muddling along and scrolling mindlessly. It’s like this: I’m trying to log onto my own wordpress. org blog and yours and another interesting blogger’s blog is suddenly offered to me. How quaint that we’re led along by Google like children escorted by a pampering nanny to the sand pit rides. I am commenting using my wordpress.com account–which I never use! So there you have it. I am struck by the way you describe your Blog as an “Introspection.” I’ve been unaware that I’m doing the same thing with my Blog. I’d just like you to know that “finding” your Blog the way I have may not be completely serendipitous. Because I’ve been dissatisfied lately with my Blog’s progress and the thought that I’m just wasting my time. And so that kind hearted Nanny brought me to you. Well, you’ve reinforced my desire to continue Blogging and you are an inspiration to those of us who appreciate style and individuality. I only started my Blog last year and my novel, The Log Of The Yardbird, I managed, with a dogged effort, to launch on Amazon, three months prior. Really I wonder if I am reappearing here as a ghost! Everyday a few hours in internet sometimes makes me too tired to look back at all my past attempts to express my evolving emotions in writing. Now that AI helps in chat, responding to bots gives me same pleasure as writing. 2023 April 21
