In the Washington Post today, I saw an article stating that beginning December 1, Google would start deleting dormant accounts. I have one of those. My first blog was published on Google’s blogging platform Blogspot. There are a few posts on that blog I don’t want to lose, so over the next week, I’m going to publish them here. Each will start with the original publish date.

This cartoon was a family effort: I came up with the concept (pun really), Sophie (age eleven) drew the picture, and Eli (age eight) suggested we use hamburgers and hot dogs as soldiers.

Hahahaha too cute.
I try not to use google. Get a VPN not certified by Apple.

Nice. Possibly done after watching The Great Race or some other food fight movie?

Anyway, this is a timely prompt to use a rarely used account on an old smart phone at home.

Inspired by our immersion in all things civil war due to living adjacent to the Gettysburg battlefield and by Sybil Luddington’s midnight ride (you have to look that one up).
