Book Launch

In January, I posted The Routine, a flash piece illustrating my teenage struggle with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. I initially wrote it a few years ago, but in January I gave it a heavy edit and submitted it to Through the Looking Glass: Reflecting on Madness and Chaos Within, an anthology of short nonfiction and poetry exploring the topic of mental illness. This anthology is published by Indie Blu(e) Publishing.

At the time, I simply hoped my story would be accepted. It was, along with submissions from one hundred fifty-seven other writers. A couple of weeks ago, I learned that I was one of nine authors selected to read in an upcoming virtual launch of the anthology hosted by the Big Blue Marble Bookstore in Philadelphia. The event will be live on the web at seven o’clock EDT on Monday, July 19.

Tickets are free, but you need a ticket to attend. If you’d like to attend the reading, click on this –>> LINK <<– and ‘purchase’ your free ticket. I believe the night will include a Q&A section. Hope to see you there.

  1. I got a ticket, now let’s hope that my 1:30pm pain doctor appointment doesn’t run too late, and there’s not chaos in my Casa when I get home🤞

Congrats on the inclusion! A very well deserved recognition of your excellent writing!🥳🌠
